The Harbor Beach City Council approved a contract with J-Lyn Charters.
Through the contract with J-Lyn Charters, there will be opportunities available to those who wish to tour the lighthouse Saturdays only, starting Saturday, June 25 through Labor Day weekend. The tours will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets will be sold and passengers must be at least 12.

The City of Harbor Beach and the Harbor Beach Chamber of Commerce have collaborated with other “sunrise side” communities in publishing a travel website at www.bluewater.org. The group has recently added a 360° Virtual Tour capability. The film crew took a boat ride out to our Lighthouse and was able to do a great job of capturing our treasure. Harbor Beach Walking Tour

The City of Harbor Beach is now the owner of the Harbor Beach Lighthouse. Ceremonies to transfer ownership of the historic structure took place in Traverse City on June 16, 2010. A local ceremony took place July 31 2010. The Harbor Beach Lighthouse Preservation Society (HBLPS) was formed in 1984 and restoration is ongoing. The lighthouse has been water-proofed, ventilated, and its floors, interior walls, and windows restored to original appearance.
